Synopsis

Think of a pond. If it's perfectly still, the sky, trees, birds
flying by, etc. will reflect in a more or less perfect reflection of the world
which appears more or less parallel to the pond's surface. But if there's some
wind, it'll stir up the surface a bit. The reflection is still there, it's just
scattered by a ripple here, a little wave there, frogs jumping, drops of rain,
fish surfacing, etc. each of which leaves its mark.

How about if the water was music? and if the world reflected
in the surface was one person's perceptions, experiences, and
consciousness? Then, what if he/she decided what variations to
apply, in the form of ripples of time, etc. to the surface
of this world to be reflected?
